Man Killed in El Paso Shooting Was ‘Very Supportive of Trump’

Last weekend, Andre Anchondo died along with his wife, Jordan Anchondo, during the mass shooting at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas when he shielded his family including his infant son from gunfire. After the incident National Public Radio’s David Greene traveled to El Paso where the news outlet spoke primarily with residents who were critical of President Donald Trump including Democratic politicians, one part of his story blew up his liberal narrative.
Which included the victim’s brother, Tito Anchondo.

NPR reported, “As President Trump headed to El Paso on Wednesday and the grieving communities held vigils to mourn the dead, Andre’s older brother and father were back at work in the family’s auto shop, figuring out how to press on.†On Wednesday, NPR even teased Anchondo’s upcoming appearance.
