Seasoned prison litigators and suicide prevention experts were not shocked that such an event could occur, but they agreed that the apparent suicide raised serious questions about the mental health treatment and evaluation Epstein received at the facility. ...

It was reported that Epstein was placed on suicide watch after the previous incident on July 22. According to reports at the time, he was found semi-conscious with bruises around his neck. In order to be cleared to be taken off suicide watch at a federal facility, inmates must go through rigorous, structured interviews.   ...

I could see an ice bullet. Igniter and propellent that leaves no trace is a different matter.  Maybe better an icicle to pick someone's brain.

I was thinking captive bolt gun, but it looks like they are .22 to .25, and I wouldn't think that would leave a .45 wound.

I suppose there's no practical reason why one couldn't build their own.

That is before OT and holiday pay. Prison Guards where I used to live had a base of around 47K many would make over 90K for the year. Retire after 20 and take another position.

I am guessing "Stalwart" is a 21st Century PC version of "Comrade",and it is capitalized for the same reasons the word "King" is capitalized.

Inmates can only be removed from the watch when the program coordinator, who is generally the chief psychologist at the facility, deems they are no longer at imminent risk for suicide, according a 2007 Bureau of Prison document outlining suicide prevention policies. The inmates cannot be removed from the watch without a face-to-face psychological evaluation.

To take an inmate off suicide watch, a “post-watch report” needs to be completed, which includes an analysis of how the inmate’s circumstances have changed and why that merits removal from the watch, the document said.

Under Bureau of Prison regulations, the government’s jails and prisons must have one or more rooms designed for housing an inmate on suicide watch, and the rooms must allow staff members to control the inmate without compromising their ability to observe and protect him. Every prison facility is required to have a suicide prevention program.

Summarizing what I read today:
Our Attorney General is William Barr.
His father, Donald Barr owned the prestigious school, Dalton School in Manhattan.  Headmaster Donald Barr hired Jeffery Epstein to teach math and physics at the school even though Epstein had no qualifications to teach those subjects.

Epstein worked there for two years, during which time Bear Sterns CEO Allen Greenberg had his two children at Dalton School.  He met Epstein and hired him to work at Bear Sterns.  That was in 1976.  Epstein started his own financial company in 1988.

Well, it's believed the case against Epstein may go forward anyway,  The feds might be able to go after his estate and whatever businesses he owned.  But if that doesn't work, his alleged victims might have recourse through civil litigation. 

Money may go al ong way for the victims in their quest for peace.
