Texan Beto O’Rourke joined nine other Democrats on stage in Detroit on Tuesday for the second round of debates in the Democratic presidential primary contest. All of the candidates made questionable statements — take a look at some fact-checking from the night — including O’Rourke, who was asked to respond to a comment about gun violence from Montana Gov. Steve Bullock. Lots of good fact reporting.
@Sanguine IIRC if you remove three or four cities from the United States total we as a country drop to like 35th on that list.
Heck! Just take Chicago and Philidelphia out and see what happens.
I think the cities they took out were NYC, Chicago and LA and we went from #2 down to #35
If you go by state, #1 is Alaska, but 80% of the firearm deaths are suicide. Next is Louisiana.
Add Philly and Baltimore to that list and we wouldn't even register!
