Just watched and listened to Upchuck bite his lip as he set up the Mayor Dayton,Ohio to make a plea for gun control after she forgot and had tried to sign off. He actually says "One last comment for pubic officials in Washington.(pause to bite lip) I want to give you that forum." (with look on his face like he wants to cry).
Even then she is confused,and says "I'm sorry?" in confusion,and he replies "One last comment for elected officials in Washington." She then obviously reads an anti-gun rant from a piece of paper. You can tell from the tone of her voice and the speed she talking that she is reading it. They obviously had this rehearsed and had the script written for her,and then she forgot to say it,so he reminded her after doing a bit of panic mumbling and stumbling.
