WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended his choice for the next U.S. spy chief as someone who could “rein in” intelligence agencies that “have run amok,” fueling concerns Trump seeks assessments that support his own views.

The last time we had a lawyer, with questionable qualifications, assigned to ‘rein in’ the intelligence community, we ended up with the Gorelick Wall.

Whose lousy judgement put all the current leaders of the intelligence groups in place that they need yet another lousy pick to keep them in check? It certainly wasn’t mine.

Restraint? Or laying a trap for Dems to go full-stupid defending something indefensible? The Dems should be very worried, wondering what Trump has that he has left unsaid but ready to spring on them. I doubt they are, though.
