The numbers don't lie – Trump movement growing by putting America first
Cincinnati.com, Jul 29, 2019, John Pence

[...]

The data shows that this movement is growing. President Trump’s rallies consistently draw well over 30,000 attendees, whether they take place in a remote airport hangar or a major sports arena. Just last month, his 2020 campaign kickoff rally in Orlando received more than 120,000 RSVPs for a venue that could accommodate 20,000. The same routine plays out at every rally: people start lining up days in advance to make sure they can get a seat, because they know that thousands of people will end up watching the president’s speech on jumbotrons from the parking lot once attendance reaches capacity. We’ve never seen the same level of enthusiasm or support for Democrats, especially for any of their 2020 presidential candidates.

The data also proves that this movement includes all Americans. Earlier this year, President Trump held a rally in El Paso, Texas at which over a quarter of those who registered had not voted in more than eight years and 27% were Millennials or younger. In Orlando, one-third of the registrants were not regular voters, and over 15% were 32 years of age or younger. In El Paso, over 70% of the registrants were Latino and 35% of them were registered Democrats. The president’s "America First" message clearly has broad appeal for Americans of every demographic.

Since 2016, the Republican Party has trained more than 50,000 new volunteers and registered nearly 7 million new Republican voters. The RNC and the Trump campaign are hard at work all over the country, recruiting, training, and energizing the next generation of Republicans to win big in 2020.

President Trump’s record of keeping his promises has also fueled historic fundraising numbers, including raising $26 million in the first 24 hours after his re-election announcement and $105 million in the first quarter of 2019. The Trump campaign’s impressive fundraising is being driven by a massive influx of small-dollar donors – more than 957,000 individual donations averaging just $41.48.

Yet, his approval rating is the same or lower than the percentage of votes he got in the last election. This is even after the conclusion of the Mueller investigation and his disastrous testimony. All this ‘vindication,’ along with the economic numbers, should have him consistently above 50% - especially with friendly polls like Fox and Rasmussen.

And that would be the case, without a doubt.... if not for the constant, ongoing, 24/7 browbeating, accusations and defamation of character being done by the lamestream leftist media (I call them Pravda) .... which is now officially a wing of the DemocRatic Party.

Gee ... last polls that I actually paid attention to showed Trump over 50%.

Well, I provided a link, with current data, from multiple polls, that says otherwise.

If you pay attention to polls, which I don't, you might become discouraged.  But think of it this way.  How many polls have you or your family, friends and neighbors ever been asked to participate in?   For me, that would be zero.   So who are these pollsters asking?   Certainly not folks that might give them a better, bigger approval result....lol.

Polls showing Trumps low numbers work in his favor.

Bradley Effect. People know by now what results the pollsters are looking for & answer - or do not answer - accordingly.

Exactly. Those low poll numbers going into the midterms really helped secure the House and unseated Democrat Senators like Manchin and Tester in states he won by 20 points or more in 2016.

Oh, wait....

I suspect that he was alluding to the "over confidence" factor there, hon.  You know... the factor that causes folks to stay home, not vote, not bother if or when they figure their vote is not needed....?

Except that’s what happened in 2016, for a lot of reasons. Clinton was considered a lock, she didn’t bring out the minority vote, like Obama, plus the Sanders primary shenanigans. There will be knife fights among the candidates through Super Tuesday, but you won’t see the disaffected numbers voting for someone like Stein this time around.

Well, last poll(s) that I actually paid attention to showed Romney beating Bammy and Karl Rove even said so and had valid proof with all of his ridiculous charts. Polls also showed Clinton significantly beating Trump. Polls obviously weren't reliable then and I don't believe that they are reliable today.

I rely on what I see and hear around me.  I see all kinds of Trump bumper stickers, people wearing MAGA hats and there is even a large van with Trump painted on the sides in my area as well as a pick up truck with Trump painted on it's sides.  People that I encounter are pro Trump; they may not like his character so much, but they like what he's accomplished.  I have watched his rallies and events at times and that crowds that he draws are still unmatched.

I really honestly have yet to see a MAGA hat IRL... Ever. Seldom see bumper stickers, one moron with his van painted up last election.. He'd have done better spending money on a muffler.

I think the 2016 election demonstrated that polling data on Trump is not effective.

I think any polling outside of the swing states is meaningless.

Does it matter if California and New York vote against Trump at 51% or at 90%?  No change in results.

Yes - my inability to read between the lines is the reason why we have the Democratic majority in the House, Democratic senators in Arizona and Alabama, plus a Democratic governor in Kansas.

FFS, Jim.

:rolling:  I get the picture!  I live in a predominately GOP area; though it is changing.  The local airport and roads were shut down BIGLY when Trump came to town.  I can only imagine what it's going to be like this coming election.

I keep getting all kinds of texts from the GOP/Trump/RNC asking for $$, mailers asking for $$ ... I give them a piece of my mind ... never again will I donate $$ to a politician.  That's just not going to happen.
