The United States has imposed visa restrictions on those Nigerians it says are "responsible for undermining the Nigerian democratic process".

In a statement,

the State Department says the measures will also apply to those who have organised election-related violence.

It is unclear what criteria the US has used to determine who will be affected by the visa restrictions.

Sounds like a good thing plus, I think there is the possibility of officials to make off with aid money through corruption.
