Neighbors stop ICE from removing an immigrant father and his 12-year-old son from their home by linking arms and allowing them to escape

    The unidentified man and his son spent more than four hours sitting in a van when ICE officers showed up and tried to coax them out to arrest them Monday
    Witnesses said the agents offered the suspected undocumented immigrants money to get out of the vehicle, telling them, 'you'll have to exit eventually'
    After four hours the ICE agents left to 'de-escalate' as a crowd formed
    More than 10 neighbors and activists then formed a human chain between the van and the home, allowing man to flee inside
