@DCPatriot
To do otherwise would be to endorse that which I am adamantly against and absolutely abhor - Namely Big Fed, Big Spending liberalism. That you suppose your guy to be the lesser evil is quite beside the point. Y'all suggest that  am on the sidelines because I will not endorse your liberal against the other liberal... That is a distinction without a difference

My current choice, if no other:

[X] NONE OF THE ABOVE.

If a Conservative runs - A Conservative according to his record, I will vote for him - Hell, I'll be the first in line.

But I am sick and tired of phony 'conservatives in quotes' that do nothing to move the ball  - To include liberal Tumpy the Clown.

Never ever again.

The accusation of virtue-signaling is the endorsement of sin.

I've no argument with this.  You are straight in your virtue signaling.  You are damn straight in your willingness to abandon all hope at the altar of conservative correctness.  I give you kudos for your candor and I believe you are sincere.

Talkin' straight as I know how .... I think you are wrong.  And I remain hopeful that a majority of American citizens will shun what IMO is self-absorption cloaked in "principle" and continue to actually fight--in the real, imperfect and messy world-- a political enemy hell bent on our destruction.

Peace.

@Right_in_Virginia
I have abandoned no hope at all. I just know where it lies, and that sure as hell ain't in a big spending, big government liberal from NYC, and the moderate globalists of the Republican party.

Principle things are true and immovable. Standing the same through the ages.
To stand elsewhere is to endorse otherwise - Untruths... Things that will not stand the test of time.

Nope. Not as long as y'all are calling what you do conservative.
I would not say a peep otherwise, and just be on my way... There ain't nothing common between us.
But I will rise to defend Conservatism... And rise against lies in it's name.

See you tomorrow.

I am not seeing any "hope" with perpetual deficits of $2 trillion, accelerated 'catch-and-release', a dramatic increase in illegal immigration, and Obamacare still on the books.  I will take Conservatism any day of the week over the Obama-II crap you are peddling.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.
