(NationalSentinel) Thanks to a pilot program involving rapid DNA testing being implemented by the Department of Homeland Security along the U.S.-Mexico border, officials are finding an astonishing number of so-called ‘families’ that surrender to Border Patrol agents are fraudulent.

During a speech on the chamber floor last week, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) praised the Trump administration for implementing the “Rapid DNA” program and credited it with catching human smugglers. In addition, he said thanks to the testing, some smugglers are even confessing before it is administered.
