Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton withdrew from the cybersecurity conference where she was scheduled to be the keynote speaker, citing an “unforeseen circumstance,” according to an email from the FireEye Cyber Defense Summit.

Clinton — who infamously transmitted classified information over a homemade server once housed in her bathroom — was the centerpiece of the October 9-10 summit in Washington, where Clinton was to have “engage[d] in a Q&A discussion with FireEye CEO, Kevin Mandia on the geopolitical landscape and its implications for global cyber security today.”

The FireEye “Cyber Defense Summit brings together many of the world’s leading security experts, frontline heroes, government leaders, and executives from various industries to address the challenges of today’s threat landscape,” its website says.

An email from FireEye sent Tuesday said “Due to an unforeseen circumstance, Secretary Clinton will no longer be able to participate in this year’s conference. Additional speakers will be announced as confirmed. We look forward to hosting attendees in October with a comprehensive program at our 10th annual event.”

LOL!   This event is to take place this October.

She either backed out because:

1) she realizes how ludicrous it would be to speak about Cybersecurity as a Keynote speaker...having asked 'innocently' when asked about her private server being "wiped", replied..."...you mean, with a cloth?"   

Or maybe a ball peen hammer?   :laugh:

2) The "unforeseen circumstance" was that they told her to stay the hell home.

So bottom line... they probably figured out that she is either a complete dumb azz.... or a complete liar.  I posit that she is both, and I didn't even have to 'figure it out'.  I've known it all along.  :laugh:

Problem is that way too many people (voters) only get their information news from fake news sources/specialists.

I'm embarrassed to say that I have loved ones who still believe Trump is a Russian agent and that she was robbed of the Presidency.

Couldn't take it anymore and blew up at them... ended up staying home last night watching Netflix movies about Sasquatch.    :laugh:

I hear ya.   I have a stepson that is a bleeding heart liberal that espouses "globull warming".   I don't talk to him or see him much any more, after the last "discussion"...lol.  He prides himself on his intelligence and high IQ, but I know how really stupid he must be to support the radical leftists his Democrat votes are supporting.  It is pointless to argue with or trying to reason with him/them.  They're just soooo much smarter than we are, after all.   *****rollingeyes*****

Still, I was compelled to call her "ignorant" the last time we spoke.   Sorry....there was no thesaurus handy.  LOL

Yeah... those Mensa types are real bright.   Last one I knew (was forced to work in the same space for a while at my boss's home office) almost burned the house down while trying to multi-task... ie surf the net while cooking herself a steak.  Did major damage to the kitchen ceiling and backsplash which she, naturally, never paid for.  So just the opposite of intelligent.  More like stuckonstupid.

You can't embarrass her. I am GUESSING that what happened was so many people made fun of the idiots that offered her a speaking spot that they withdrew the offer or cancelled the check. Hard to take you seriously when you have her as your keynote speaker on cyber security.

I'm betting some "You go,gurl!" Clinton partisan got fired over that one.
