A good outcome.
For months the news we were being fed was that of ISIS fighters burning victims in cages...or drowning them in cages. To put restrictions on our Special Forces members in the middle of a war zone is ridiculous...even if he methodically murdered this POS.I find this "not guilty" verdict comforting.
@DCPatriot SEALS are NOT "Special Forces" members. They are primarily "SEAL Team members, and a part of the Special Warfare/Special Operations Forces capabilities of the US Military. The ONLY "Special Forces" members of the US Military are the US Army Special Forces, and they wear Green Berets as a part of their dress uniform,as well as with their fatigue uniforms when not deployed to combat zones. In combat zones they generally don't wear their Green Berets on operations because it tends to draw enemy fire.
Come on, Pete. They used to call cars, 'Horseless Carriages". When only a fraction of applicants qualify to become "Seals"...that's SPECIAL FORCES.
Hopefully, charges will be filed against Joe Warpinski for withholding evidence and obstruction of justice.
They should have awarded medals and reward money for American soldiers who killed any ISIS scum....in any situation. If one side, ISIS, chooses to put up the black flag, they should expect no quarter from the good guys.
Is it common to avoid army issue ammunition and usefrangeable ammo instead?
