Former Vice President Joe Biden needs to "up his game" after underperforming at last week's Democratic presidential debate, Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham said, but other candidates shouldn't underestimate him in the crowded presidential primary race.

"The narrative is that maybe it's not his time and that he's not up to the task," Graham said in an interview on "Face the Nation" taped Saturday. "I think you will ... underestimate Joe Biden at your own peril."

The article almost sounds like Graham is promoting a Biden/Harris 2020 ticket.

Uncle Joe has way too much baggage to be a relevant contender anymore.  He represents the old school DEMS while most of the others on stage represent younger and more relevant candidates.

According to news reports Kamala cleaned his clock.  The only thing that may hurt her is if the story about her not truly being an African-American continues -- she still is black.

I predict a Harris/Castro ticket. Black female and a Hispanic who's mother was instrumental in the formation of LaRaza.

I had once thought Beto, be he continues to sink himself.

It's rope-a-dope. Graham is teasing the Dems to run Joe in 2020 because that's what he wants to happen. Pubs would love Biden vs. Trump. Graham is promoting Joe for that reason. Run Joe Run.

And if Hillary does 'jump in' at the last minute, all the Dems would release a collective dammit *sigh*, and they would all say together in unison,"Come on! Not this shit again!"

The Dems can beat Trump in 2020. The only problem is, they do not have any viable candidates. The DNC following are all liars, felons, illegals, homosexuals, Muslims, rich old White guys, super-billionaires, totalitarian Socialists, and other assorted weirdos. The DNC cannot find a normal, stable, contemporary candidate, because people like that are not Democrats. The Democrat Party is a magnet for crazy people. We saw that clearly in the two debates.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

I don't know about that. Graham is a member of that Old Boys' Club, where people on both sides of the aisle love to get along. I mean, remember his old friendship with McCain.

Not quite sure your reasoning for stating that the DEMS can beat Trump in 2020 if they don't have any viable candidates. Yes, the DEMS are the party of racism, lies and deception.  They are also the party that has refused to address the issue at the border and who are proposing raising taxes.  They are going to be hard pressed to make the border an issue, and unless they find a way to take the economy and people start losing their jobs, they are going to have to find a way to bring focus away from his record.

What I see hurting Trump is the GOP voters.  He's failed on the border and he's hoping that his saving grace will be that the DEM candidates may be far worse; however, the DEM campaigning has just begun.  Trump also has almost another year to resolve the issue(s) at the border.  So IMHO, too early to completely rule out Trump's re-election.

The way that the DEMS could win is through fraudulent voting and corruption; that was demonstrated during the mid terms.

As for Hillary.... she needs to jump into the race by mid Dec., giving her 10 months on the campaign trial; I don't see that she's able to.  She may hit the trail in support of someone else now and then, but running as a 3 time loser, just isn't going to happen.

Not really. All they need to do is have a standard primary process and limit 3rd Party defectors. Trump only had 46% of the vote in 2016. Right now, even with the economic numbers, he’s only holding at 47% with friendly Rasmussen.
