The toxicity of the resistance to President Trump has risen in recent days, with the nation's most respected newspapers publishing rationalizations for denying Trump supporters public accommodation and for doxxing career federal employees, while a journalist found himself under physical attack from the so-called anti-fascist group Antifa, which has stepped up its violent activities since Trump's election.

The justification for denying public accommodation came from the Washington Post in an op-ed by Stephanie Wilkinson, the owner of a farm-to-table restaurant in Lexington, Virginia. Wilkinson became famous in June of last year, when she refused to serve White House spokeswoman Sarah Huckabee Sanders and and told Sanders and her family to leave the restaurant. Wilkinson's staff then followed the Sanders group in protest as they tried to find another place to eat.

Wilkinson later told the press she ejected Sanders because the Trump administration is "inhumane and unethical" and because the Red Hen "has certain standards that I feel it has to uphold, such as honesty, and compassion, and cooperation."

In her new article, Wilkinson discussed the case of The Aviary, a trendy bar in Chicago where a waitress recently spat on Eric Trump, the president's son. Wilkinson wrote that the incident, along with her own decision to oust Sanders, shows that in the age of Trump "new rules apply" in public accommodations: Americans who work for the administration or support the president should stay away.

Nobody has ever accused a deranged Liberal of being intelligent. This whole situation is kind of funny in a way. If Trump did what the Liberals claim to want, or if a Liberal is elected in 2020 and the Mexican border is flung wide-open, the people most affected by that, the people most hurt by open borders, would be restaurant workers FIRST.

All the so called 'workers' who are harassing anyone not on their side will be unemployed immediately by their own actions. Why would an employer pay up to $10 an hour to an American, when they can hire a Mexican for $2.50 an hour? These waiters and waitresses are fighting for their own unemployment. And, they are promoting the exploitation and slave-labor of the very people they claim to be 'helping'.

As I said, Liberals are hate-filled, knee-jerk, emotional idiots, who are easily manipulated. And they never think through the full consequences of what they fight for.

We must not be watching the same news sources. According to mine there has been an obvious ratcheting up of the level of hysteria on the left. And some quarters of the right.

But..... the reveal might have come a bit too late, I fear. I just keep thinking about how we (the USA), as the only friend of Israel, are not mentioned in the Bible re: the end times. Why not?

Stories about the street violence and the lack of Police action in the face of felonious assault are being ignored by these people. They'll have to see it personally. I can't seem to get their attention that my home is in danger of being overrun by illegal aliens, either.

I agree with all that, except the level of intensity on the part of the media.

Don't we see anti-Trumpers, on this site even, blaming Trump for the current unusually vicious state of our political discourse all the time?

He certainly is not helping to quell that vicious state. He whips it up even more every chance he gets.

I'm not buying the deflection of responsibility. Doesn't matter what Trump says or does, he's not responsible for the Antifa violence against his supporters, Antifa thugs are.
