He is reprehensible, @Applewood I don't know when or whether he's up for reelection, but that city needs to go 180 degrees in the other direction.
The dumba$$ was re-elected in 2017. In Pittsburgh, Democrats usually run unopposed or maybe Republicans will put up some token opposition candidate. Add to that the strong unions which bankroll the Democrats, and the city is under one-party rule.
Same with many of the suburbs closer to Pittsburgh. In my town this year we have a few minor council and school board posts on the ballot. The Democrat candidates are unopposed, so voting in November is a huge waste of time for me.
And in this state, if by chance a Republican is elected, he or she most likely is maybe only slightly to the right of the Democrats. In the state legislature, for example, it doesn't matter which party is in the majority. Both parties love to tax and spend.
Nothing ever changes, no matter who is in charge.
