Field Executions

The military leadership of the regime is currently working to control the panic and randomness that hit the ranks of its soldiers by intimidating them to execute in the field in case of escape from the battle, where military sources confirmed to "Syria Call" that two days ago field courts were composed of officers of different ranks of the regime, been tasked to execute those are trying to flee the fighting on the ground and kill them on charges of treason. Indeed, these courts, which are deployed in the rear lines, executed more than four combat groups that left their positions in the countryside of Hama and fled before the revolutionary factions advanced.

Suicide cases began to spread among the soldiers of the Assad forces because of the continuation of their working for many years, and the fear of pushing them to the engagement front lines of northern Syria, fearing of being captured, disability or death, where several days ago a soldier called "Ali Zoriki" committed suicide in rural Lattakia because of the continued retention and informed him of readiness to go to the front of the barracks in rural Lattakia, and there have been similar cases of suicide in the Assad regime forces.

During the past two days, the revolutionary factions have captured some 23 members of the Assad forces during the confrontations north-west of Hama. Among the prisoners is Yassin al-Hassanu, the son of the head of the political security detachment of the regime in the city of al-Sakilibiya.
