Sephora to shut US stores for diversity training after SZA racial profiling claim

All Sephora stores, distribution centers, and corporate offices in the US will close on June 5 to conduct diversity training after a racial incident involving a Grammy nominated singer.

I actually love shopping at Sephora, I find the staff to be very knowledgeable and helpful.

I don’t get that kind of attention at Ulta.

I’ve never seen a thing like this happen in any Sephora’s I’ve been to, and I’ve even been to the big one in Times Square.

If I run out of my favorite lipstick and don’t feel like going to the mall, their customer service is impeccable.

If this event really did happen, it really saddens me. 
I’ve seen women of every color and size get nothing but the best attention and patience to find the right shade of makeup and color by the staff.

I’d be curious if anyone here has had a bad or good experience with this store.

P.S. their birthday club rocks! You get the best samples during your birthday month!

Cosmetics - if you’re a good boy and suffer through the store trip, you get a Auntie Anne’s pretzel from the food court. Plus, later, you get to see if that new lipstick color works on you via transference.

Reminds me of all the times that one of my SIL's complained of being "profiled" in stores because she was Hispanic.

LOL, the problem was solved when she married a white guy with a German last name.
