An Iraqi Christian shares his story of being imprisoned by ISIS, in which they tried to burn him alive three times but his body didn't burn. His story is from an upcoming documentary film called "Heart and Hands: Iraq" from Sean Feucht with his work through Light A Candle Project.

An Iraqi Christian who said Jesus appeared to him twice in his dreams recounts being imprisoned by ISIS, tortured and burned three times by the terrorist group.

The man, a Yazidi, recounts his harrowing story in a documentary by Sean Feucht and Bethel Music.

Sounds like accounts from the Roman persecutions.  There are lots of martyrologies which recount Christians surviving multiple attempts to put them to death in gruesome ways.  Sometimes they were released and died of old age (e.g. St. Thekla, accounted as the first woman martyr for Christ even though she survived all the attempted executions), though usually the Romans would eventually give up on torture and go with the sure thing of beheading.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
