YUMA — U.S. Border Patrol agents arrested two women near Yuma after agents say they found nearly 90 pounds of methamphetamine in their SUV.

The driver of the red Chevrolet Blazer, a 26-year-old Yuma resident, was arrested on drug smuggling charges, according to a U.S. Customs and Border Protection news release.

The 24-year-old passenger, of Idaho, was also arrested. The release does not give details on the charges for the passenger.
