At least 17 Taliban fighters were killed and 8 others were wounded in Special Forces raid which was conducted along Highway-1 in South-eastern Ghazni province.

“Afghan Special Forces conducted an operation along Highway 1 in Ghazni killing 17 Taliban fighters and wounding 8 others,” the informed military sources said Monday.

The anti-government armed militants including Taliban have not commented regarding the raid so far.
