Like the kids said "mental health"! The media isn't saying much about any 'protected group' individuals committing heinous crimes, they even parade the victims and blame the tool as in "Gun" violence. If there were people being bludgeoned to death, would they call it "Stick" violence?
The unavoidable common thread in mass shootings is that the perpetrators either have a mental health problem (often under medication or should have been taking their meds) or they are people bent on religious based destruction, usually Muslim.
(Note the Christchurch Mosque shooter intended to start a conflict in the US by killing Muslims in New Zealand, because the event would be used to push gun control here as well as take gun rights from New Zealanders. Crazy, but half right--New Zealand banned, by decree, semiautomatic rifles.)
It's getting harder to blame the owners of the hundreds of millions of firearms that were not used to commit criminal acts when it is ever more clear that the perpetrators aren't 'wired right'.
