Black Lives Matter and other anti-Trump groups held a rally on the grounds of the Capitol on Tuesday to call for President Donald Trump to be censured for what he said about Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) controversial statement that “somebody did something” on 9-11.

People chanted ‘“Hands off Ilhan” and in a series of speeches blamed the president and Republicans for the rise of “white supremacy masked as white nationalism.”

Omar spoke at the event in praise of her homeland of Somalia and said the president and his Party are responsible for recent attacks on synagogues and mosques.

“At this moment, the occupant of the White House and his allies are doing everything that they can to distance themselves and misinform the public from the monsters that they created that is [sic] terrorizing the Jewish community and the Muslim community,” Omar said.

Omar said she is criticized because she is a Muslim woman.

Unless the people she is referring to "wake up"...exactly.  The transformation of America that the first black president of the U.S. promised continues ... illegals by the thousands pouring over our borders from over 50 countries ... and one of the first Muslims in Congress making less then an idle threat.

Meanwhile our current President has done nothing to stop the invasion, nor the transformation of America.  The people did wake up; unfortunately, they were duped into voting for someone who had no intention of keeping his promise. Instead we have a crisis and an invasion at the border like never seen before.  Quite troubling isn't it that they continue to give him a free pass?

If it hasn't happened by now, it never will.  Trump has given Mexico a full year to get their act together.  Meanwhile the situation at the border hasn't changed and Kushner's newly proposed immigration plan does nothing to address illegals.
