Jeb Bush Uses Democrat Talking Point: ‘Not Sure’ Sanctuary Cities for Illegals Are a ‘Problem’ in Florida

Former Florida governor and failed presidential candidate Jeb Bush (R) is questioning why Florida’s current governor, Ron DeSantis (R), is pushing to ban sanctuary cities that protect criminal illegal aliens in the state.

As Breitbart News has chronicled, DeSantis has led an initiative in Florida to ban sanctuary city jurisdictions across the state. The plan, which has already passed the state Senate, would fine a locality or county $5,000 every day that it enforces a sanctuary policy.
Bush used the same rhetoric that elected Democrats have used against the sanctuary city ban, claiming DeSantis is only trying to score political points and that jurisdictions shielding illegal aliens from deportation are not a problem in Florida.

If they aren't a problem, they won't have a chance to become problems later when they are illegal.  Jeb ought to be happy, like with an insurance policy. :tongue2:

An if only wish....................
If only Reagan hadn't thrown a life preserver to loser Bush,
the USA would have been spared these three schmucks.
Reflect a moment on 'no Iraq War'. Sigh....................

  • WE are NOT ok!
Jeb is an idiot.  FL doesn't have any sanctuary cities and there is a bill that passed in the House 68-45 and the Senate 22-18. I have no doubt that DeSantis will sign it.

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

And Terri Schiavo might still be alive.

That makes two of us. Boy Jorge practically lived up Prince Abdullah's butt.

As for Abdullah,I am guessing he only vacationed up Boy Jorge's butt.

Sneaky,
Some 175 years ago, in response to a question,
Lord Palmerston rose in Commons and said:
" Great Nations have neither allies nor friends; they simply
have interests, which change over time and circumstance."
Our mortal enemy in the Middle East had been Iran, since
the fall of the Shah, never Iraq. Never!
But an ignorant and sanctimonious buffoon like Bush was
oblivious to the wise Arab adage that "the enemy of my
enemy, is my friend."
Iran and Iraq had fought a costly and debilitating 8 year war
in 1980, that ended in stalemate despite Iran's military
advantages in manpower and weaponry, so much so that
by 2003, Iran still had not recovered.
Had we struck then, we would have eliminated Iran as a
threat, stabilized the Middle East to his day and served
our national interests!

Interesting, but irrelevant. Abdulah lived up Boy Jorge's butt, and Boy Jorge was going to do whatever he was paid to do or say.

Sarcasm duly noted.

I'm no class warrior, but the Bushes never did anything that didn't benefit people at their level.
