I think it's refreshing to find a Briefer who public and unabashedly confesses to being incorrect, while surrounded by so many other Briefers who have never been wrong. Sniffings, groping, never got him into trouble because he is not a threatening person and he did it in public, and that behavior is likely stopped now.

I am not saying I want Biden to win; I am saying it is likely he WILL win. You and others and I can write why he should not be president and I agree, however, it is likely he WILL win based on the public's desire to stop hearing chaos/trouble every day.

Now, some here will say I want Biden to win - I am not and do not - I am describing why Biden would mean "comfort" to millions who are sick of hearing Chaos Trump everyday. Trump likes chaos since it means he is on TV every day. He is a problem every day and voters want to think their vote will resolve the problem so they don't have to listen to problems when they get home from work. Peace or continuing Chaos?

I think that you may be projecting your hyper-focus on the "news" a bit too much to the general voting public.

Most people don't watch CNN-MSNBC-FOX all day long, so they don't see or hear what you define as "Chaos Trump."

They are busy working, doing things with their families, etc.

They have no idea about the "chaos" that Trump is raising day in, day out.

Therefore, they aren't looking for any peace dividend from Slow Joe.

Taking away a citizen's right to vote:
There is punishment when one is convicted of a crime - time in prison, probation, etc.. If the person is a US citizen, the person is still a citizen of the United States. A citizen can vote. Taking away his/her right to vote would mean he/she is not a citizen anymore, and that cannot be done.

Taking away citizenship conferred on a person from birth in these United States, or conferred another way under our law, is like a person can be born and then killed - that is wrong but accepted under law today as "ending a pregnancy" for "cause". It is still murder. Likewise, a person born in the US, or by conferred right to citizenship, is a citizen and taking away those birth or conferred rights is murder of rights, just as abortion is murder.

Taking away the right to vote, is outside the punishment for the crime. It is like saying, "You did this crime and now, because I can do it, you can't vote - take that, you criminal."

Texas law at this time is this:
A person in jail who has not been convicted can vote absentee ballot.
Once convicted, the person cannot vote.
If released on bail, the person can vote.
After time served or put on probation, the person can vote.

A story:
A man on probation for sexual contact with a minor, filed to run for Republican Chairman of our county. My husband was the Republican Chairman. Due to his filing for Republican Chairman against my husband, I had to check to know if this man on probation could run for office. My research of these laws regarding the rights of criminals regarding elections, told me this man could run for office. He was actually a rabid Democrat who filed against my husband "because he could". When his candidacy was announced in the local paper, he said his qualification for the job was, "I was a cheerleader in high school." He lost of course, but he could vote and run for office while on probation.

I should have prefaces my reply with "You make a compelling point that I can identify with." I'm so worn out by President Trump's asininity that I fear I have grown numb to some of it. Still I am not sure that the democrat base (the people who will pick the democrat candidate) want Joe's "comfort." They may want someone about whom they can say "He FIGHTS!" I certainly agree he is the front runner for the democrats

Bidenâ€™s lead over Sanders in latest democrat polls is a positive sign. Yes, Bidenâ€™s an idiot, a moron, heâ€™s corrupt and old-school swamp, but heâ€™s not a socialist.

So itâ€™s good that he leads Sanders by large margin. It shows that democrats, though unfailingly wrong on policy, have yet to jump the shark. At least for now Americans are resisting the lure of socialismâ€”repeat, for now.

Polls...heck....the weatherman gets predictions more right, and they are wrong about 60% of the time!

HRC was supposed to beat Trump by 7 points. Polls.....not worth a good BM!

Comrade Muppet will walk all over Biden. And should HRC jump in, and I believe she will, the entire lot go by the wayside quickly. However, enough stay in to minimize the impact of Comrade Muppet until such time HRC has a safe lead and cannot be bested.
