Trump's statement to me, isn't too bad. He just doesn't directly say "We recognize the Armenian genocide committed by Turkey (and Kurds in fact). I don't think the US Congress has officially recognized the Armenian genocide, I could be wrong about this... but! I believe about every state has. That number is at least around 46-49.
