If the time isn't right now for Democrats to bring articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump, it won't likely be right for them a year from now, Sen. Mike Lee said Tuesday.

"Republicans learned this a couple of decades ago going through the impeachment process for [President] Bill Clinton," the Utah Republican told Fox News' "Fox and Friends."

"It didn't turn out well for us. No reason it would come out well for them this time around."
During a Monday conference call with six committee leaders, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged Democrats to concentrate on investigations of the president rather than impeachment proceedings in the wake of special counsel Robert Mueller's report.  In addition, former White House Counsel Don McGahn was subpoenaed Monday.

Lee said Democrats were "woefully disappointed" in the report.
