Kim Foxx’s Staff Abandoning Her As Investigation Into Smollett Case Continues

People in the State’s Attorney’s Office of Kim Foxx, the prosecutor who allowed Jussie Smollett to get off on charges of filing a fake police report, are abandoning ship.
Foxx’s Chief Ethics Officer April Perry and Mark Rotert, the Conviction Integrity Director, have both handed in their resignations, Fox News reported.
“While I feel lucky to have been able to spend the last 15 years of my career in public service, I am looking forward to my next endeavor in the private sector where I have the opportunity to continue to work toward increasing the safety of our community,†Perry said in her letter.
