Only a heckler can improve an evening with the money-grabbing Clintons
NY Post, Apr 12, 2019, Maureen Callahan

Now that they’ve been dismissed, defanged and declawed by their own party, Bill and Hillary Clinton are doing what comes naturally: Hitting people up for money.

Thursday night marked the kickoff, in New York City, of their national speaking tour. Billed as “a one-of-a-kind conversation with two individuals who have helped shape our world … [and who offer] remarkable insight into where we go from here,” the event simply underscored why Hillary lost: Over-promise, under-deliver, avoid accountability, and expect the masses to nonetheless be satisfied.

My ticket, a third-row seat in the balcony, cost $210. This bought me 90 minutes of longtime Clinton lackey Paul Begala launching such softballs as:
•Is the two-state solution dead?
•What is happening to American politics?
•How did it feel to watch the bin Laden raid?
•Why are the Dems losing rural voters?
•How did you raise such an amazing daughter?

Wondering why nobody asked the two thieves any hard questions is pointless.  The whole idea of the tour is simply to extract more moolah from the suckers.
As long as people keep attending, the Clintons will be laughing all the way to the bank.

@goatprairie

Isn't she supposed to still be a Senator from NYS? Isn't it illegal for a Senator to go on paid speaking engagements like this?

BTW,can anyone name ONE piece of legislation she ever promoted that was passed?

Thankfully, her Senate days ended in 2009. She resigned to become Obammy's Secretary of State. Here's the funny part. According to Wikipedia:
Quote
While a member of the U.S. Senate, Clinton sponsored 31 pieces of legislation, including 21 bills, 9 amendments, 33 Senate Resolutions, and 21 concurrent resolutions.

Fourteen of her Senate resolutions were passed, expressing the Senate's views on policy or commemorative questions.

 One of her concurrent resolutions—supporting National Purple Heart Recognition Day—passed both houses. Three  became law:

1. Kate Mullany National Historic Site Act    - Establishes the Kate Mullany National Historic Site in Troy, New York.

2. A bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 2951 New York Highway 43 in Averill Park, New York, as the "Major George Quamo Post Office Building".

3. A bill to designate a portion of United States Route 20A, located in Orchard Park, New York, as the "Timothy J. Russert Highway"
Wow, whatever would the people of New York have done without her?

@mountaineer

I get your point,but it looks like she actually did less harm than their other US Senator. And every other US Senator,come to think of it.

Damn shame she didn't set an example for the others to follow,isn't it?

BTW,we all know if she resigned it was because she thought there was more bribe money to be had in her new position. Now that she no longer has that position,I wonder if she regrets giving up what was a life-long Senate seat,where she could still be pulling in the graft and be immune to prosecution? Or even more immune than she is now as Bubba's wife-thing.
