Harris is making this a signature issue?
There may be more reasons than one too for his saying that back in 2002. His devotion to his wife is apparent, but a few women have proven dangerous to be around one on one. If you are in politics, you find that out real quick.
I think Pence's position to be admirable, and something to be encouraged.
Me too. If I was meeting with a man, I always made sure my blinds were pulled up so that anyone passing by my office could easily see into my office. It's a tricky world, and some reasonable caution makes it less so.
Makes it a lot harder to slam someone with false allegations. Prudent in the current political environment, especially with the likes of Harris around.
Prudent as a general rule in life.
Absolutely. My husband has the same policy. He always tells people, "If someone is going to be 'offended' by my actions, it isn't going to be my wife."
He sounds like a good man @Polly Ticks And please thank him for giving us a succinct and powerful quote we should repeat often.
This is pretty hilarious coming from someone who wouldn't be where she is if other men followed that policy...
I guess she really knows what she is talking about.
Yup. Heels-up Harris.
Pence should just tell Harris that is because of women like her that he won't take meetings alone with women.
