Days of recent snow across the Northeast may have served as a preview for a major winter storm that's forecast to bring heavy snow into the region Sunday before the next Arctic blast of cold. The National Weather Service said in its forecast discussion the storm system is bringing snow from the Central Plains, with the "most significant" snow to be expected across the Central Appalachians and into the Northeast.
Snow I can accept -- it's normal for March around here. But temperatures in the teens and single numbers? That's January weather. That groundhog was wrong.
20's here tonight and for the next several nights. Oh, yaay....
@Sanguine Yes, here, too, north of Dallas, in the 20s tonight.
We were nine below last night.but not to worry... on the periphery of the long range forecast, a week of 30's and then 40's and 50's.We'll be sending it your way :D
Thank you. We could use some global warming around these parts. 18 degrees with a wind chill of 9 above. Just too cold.
