The point is rather obvious. Reykjavik led to a deal where we were the only ones living up to it for decades. Why would we want a repeat of that?

People can't see the value in the tethers Trump is connecting I guess. No president has ever even met with NK leadership before. His progress is unprecedented and gives plenty of reason to hope.

Correct. We've had about 75 years od dealing with a rogue No. Korea. No other president has done so well with No. Korea as president TRUMP.  Kim wanted ALL SANCTIONS REMOVED.  President TRUMP said 'No". Not a good deal. So the meeting ended.  We still have 3 live hostages returned, the remains of other American soldiers returned to USA, NO rockets being fired over Japan, or anywhere else. Then one Nuclear site destroyed by KIM.  It cost America nothing!  Just talk by my beautiful president.

Last year he wanted to have a big military parade and stand on the reviewing stand watching the "troops" and "weapons" paying homage to him - I was nauseated hearing that because that IS want he wants.

Today, I read the report below and believe it to be true rather than believe Kim did not know the student was tortured and left to die when sent back home.

Because I believe the report below, I expect to see Kim firing up the rockets/missiles to prove to the world he is bigger/better/meaner to kill people than Trump is.

I say it was a great meeting.  Both sides put out their visions & plans & ideas.  No. Korea wanted ALL SANCTIONS REMOVED.
USA SAID..."NO".  See success by USA.  Now, No. Korea will re-think their plans. They now know, it is a 'NO" on sanctions.  Of course they had to try and go for the whole ball of wax.  It didn't work.  It was a meeting.  No guarantees in meetings with rouge nations.

Yes, I remember this well:
"US Defense Secretary James Mattis said earlier the missile launched demonstrated North Korea had the ability to hit 'everywhere in the world.'"

I think we will see more "tests" start.  However, Trump will make an excuse for it happening - like he is sure Kim did not know they were going to fire missiles, after all, it's a big country with lots of people in it, and anyway, they "love" each other.
