(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D.-Mass.) sent out a Tweet on Saturday arguing that child care should be a “fundamental right” and promoting her plan to use federal funds to pay for a “universal child care plan.”

“Child care should be a fundamental right. Period,” said Warren. “Here’s how my #UniversalChildCare plan would make that a reality.”

The Tweet included a video graphic that summarized Warren’s plan.

She also believe infanticide is fundamental right along with the other 5 Democratic senators currently running for the 2020 presidential nomination Cory Booker (N.J.), Sherrod Brown (Ohio), Kirsten Gillibrand (N.Y.), Kamala Harris (Calif.), Amy Klobuchar (Minn.), and Elizabeth Warren (Mass.), and Independent Bernie Sanders of Vermont.  Each one voted against the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.

Agreed.  Child care is a fundamental right of the child that is provided by their parents by working at a job in order to provide for the child!  If two people decide to have consensual sex and a child is born as a result, then it is the RESPONSIBILITY of the parents to provide for the child. Childcare IS  the responsibility of the parents, NOT the government or any other entity.

I'm sure if the gubmint was put in charge of "child care" the would muck it up with stiff regulations and an exploding piece of the Federal Budget.  They are consistent with this record.

Times sure have changed.  We paid to house, feed, and educate our children as well as paying for their health care and any day care that was needed once in a while.  We never received a dime of assistance from the government.  How is it that we now have a generation that expects others to house, feed, educate and pay their children's medical bills?

Why is it the school's (governments) responsibility to feed kids breakfast and lunch these days?  When our kids were school aged we had breakfast in the morning before school and most days our kids ate a brown bag lunch. Occasionally we would give them lunch money to purchase a school lunch.  It was seen as a treat every once in a while.  Health insurance was taken out of our paychecks in order to pay for medical. Any other health care costs not covered by insurance came out of our pockets, including dental care which we didn't have insurance for.  Braces were expensive, but no one paid for them for us!  Private school was expensive, but no one but us paid their tuition! 

The leftists have created an entire generation that want everything given to them without working for it!!  Why?  No one owes them a damn thing!

If child care is a ‘fundamental right’ that means one of two things would be necessary.

A) People would have to unwillingly work in the child care industry to meet demand.

-or-

B) Available workers would have to care for more children than reasonably possible to meet demand.

Who wants either?

A right never involves the service or payment of another.

You have the right to take care of your own child.

You do not have the right to demand someone else take care of your child or pay for it.  As soon as someone else is involved, it is a commodity or service, not a right.

It's still stunning and surreal...(to me, at least).... that America could have elected an anti-American like Obama to the presidency.   Forget that his middle name is Hussein (same as Saddam), and that just 7 years after 9/11 Americans elected a, if not closet Muslim.... a pro-Muslim.   Also forget that half of his family were Muslims and the white half commies, with a mentor like Frank Marshall Davis.
