Trey Gowdy to Andrew McCabe: If You Really Believed Trump Was An Agent Of Russia, Why Did You Tell CBS And Not Congress?

Posted By Tim Hains
On Date February 24, 2019

Former Rep. Trey Gowdy weighs in on allegations from former FBI acting director Andrew McCabe that he believes President Trump may be an agent of Russia, in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on FNC's "Sunday Morning Futures."

"If you really believed Donald Trump was an agent of Russia, why did you tell CBS and not Congress?" Gowdy wondered. "If you really believed that Donald Trump criminally obstructed justice, why did you tell CBS but you didn't tell the United States Congress a month after you discovered it?"

  • Dems-greatest existential threat to USA republic!
McCabe should be indicted for treason, convicted and fried.  Anything less and there is further proof justice does not exist.

He did. If he didn’t, we’d have at least 8 people countering this statement from him......

"The purpose of the briefing was to let our congressional leadership know exactly what we'd been doing," McCabe said when asked specifically if he told Congress about the investigation into the president.

None of the spokespeople for the group confirmed McCabe’s May 2017 comments when asked by CNBC.

Then without any corroborating evidence, it never happened. Plus, he “informed” them after the fact. At the point he supposedly told congressional leaders he had already conducted his unconstitutional actions in an attempt to “get” the president and overturn an election.

"We never commented on Speaker Ryan's intelligence briefings, and that remains the rule," Ryan spokesman Kevin Seifert said.

A spokeswoman for Warner declined to comment on McCabe's claims.

Weird. When given the opportunity to completely discredit him on it, nobody stepped forward - not even Nunes. Launching a counter-intelligence investigation is not unconstitutional. It’s one of the duties of the FBI.

I think the so called coup is taking another angle besides the alleged 25th amendment event.

This looks too well orchestrated.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
