Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax compared himself to lynching victims as the embattled official faces sexual assault allegations.

Fairfax, who is black, referenced the state’s racist past and lynchings of African-Americans in a surprise speech Sunday before the Senate adjourned its 2019 legislative session, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

"If we go backwards in a rush to judgment, and we allow for political lynchings without any due process, any facts, any evidence being heard, then I think we do a disservice to this very body in which we all serve," the Democrat said.

The state’s Republican leaders announced two days earlier that they would hold committee hearings where the two women accusing him of sexual misconduct could share their allegations.

An attorney for Meredith Watson, who alleges Fairfax raped her in 2000 when they were classmates at Duke University, said she will testify.

Am I the only one beginning to suspect that the white and Jewish aspect of the Dim Party has awakened to the danger facing their power,and starting to flush away the upcoming generation of black power brokers so they can keep "their" people in place?

I don't think it's so much that as it it the old bulls in the party...the ones with all the power pushing back against the new upstart farther left types that aren't coming into office and immediately "knowing their place".

Which is funny because the Pelosi's and Feinstein's and Chuck Schumer's were ones those young upstarts pushing aside the old establishment in the DNC.

Fairfax a comparable lynching victim?  First, this POS is still breathing, so in no way is he comparable.  He is still Lt. Governor, making a nice salary and he says this?  He has his freedom to move about and attack more women and he is a victim?  This scumbag should be removed from office, but the same people that gave us slavery will protect this predator.
