CNN: DOJ preparing to announce end of Mueller probe as soon as next week

Newly confirmed Attorney General William Barr could reportedly announce as soon as next week that special counsel Robert Mueller has finished his investigation into potential collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.

CNN reported Wednesday that Barr is planning to submit a summary to Congress of Mueller’s final and confidential report shortly after he announces the conclusion of the probe.

The network reported that Barr could receive the report from Mueller by as soon as next week. It said the exact timing of Barr’s announcement could change, as the Justice Department is cautious of not interfering with President Trump's upcoming trip to North Korea.

The special counsel's office declined to comment to The Hill. The Justice Department also declined to comment to CNN; The Hill has reached out for comment.

Seems like there has been an announcement before of the Mueller investigation ending and yet it continues.  I'll believe it when and IF it finally ends.  I wouldn't expect it to end before the 2020 elections.

Anyone else notice this is simultaneous with Rosenstein stepping down?

Not only is he stepping down, but he is also accused of being part of a coup.  So ... since Rosenstein appointed Mueller, my hunch is Mueller is also a part of that coup.  Then there's McCabe who is also involved in the coup with Rosenstein who also lied about leaking a conversation in which the Obama Justice Department pressured the FBI to stand down on investigating the Clinton Foundation.

It will be interesting to see what Mueller does ... he can either say no collusion found with Trump and let it go ... OR he could turn around and point the finger @ Rosenstein, Mueller, Clinton, Abedin, and even Bammy.
