A man wearing a pro-Trump “Make America Great Again” hat who boarded an airliner saying “MAGA, Trump 2020, Roger Stone is an innocent man” says he was escorted off the plane after a conversation with another passenger.
 

Kenny Cool had been removed from a Frontier Airlines flight in 2016 for saying “Make America Great Again,” and on Monday night it happened again, the Gateway Pundit reported.

Cool was traveling Monday from Las Vegas back home to St. Louis.

“I boarded saying ‘MAGA, Trump 2020, Roger Stone is an innocent man,’ and when I got to my seat a guy said, ‘Hey, I like your hat,’ and I thanked him.”

Cool said the man then said, “Just kidding.”

That wasn’t my point. I don’t like being told I can’t do something legal. But, as I said, why draw attention to yourself that you know might cause a confrontation. Would a white person legally walk along the street of an all black neighborhood and start yelling racist slurs, or vice versa. You could, but might suffer the consequences.

Political speech is specifically protected speech. Yelling racial epithets not so much.

I get your point but making one the equivalent of the other is a disturbing development and I hope we'd all have the courage to push back against it.

It's a question of just how provocative one wants to be? I may laugh at what Laura Loomer does - e.g., bringing "immigrants" to seek refuge at Nancy Pelosi's mansion - but am just as aware as she is that consequences are likely.

I'll bet many thousands of people easily boarded flights wearing t-shirts/caps with the Obama logo on them. Why should wearing a MAGA hat cause someone to be deplaned?
I believe there is more to it than our hero is letting on.

Why would a 16 year old catholic boy wearing a MAGA hat cause a third of the country to want to punch him in the face?

I've had discussions with people I formerly thought reasonable who claimed a MAGA hat the equal to a white hood. Once that comparison is accepted then pretty much any reaction to it becomes justified.

Hey my wife's family know that I didn't vote for Trump,but because I like a good number of the things he has done, I am labeled that way. Yes I will be voting for him in 2020 as long as he works on the wall.

But then they try to put a guy out of business, because of his religious beliefs, and tells a customer he won’t decorate with something that violates those beliefs.
