Hillary Clinton won’t be entering the 2020 fray, according to her former campaign chairman John Podesta.

“She would have been a great president, but that’s in the past. She says she’s not running,” Podesta told CNN on Tuesday.

CNN reported last week Clinton had told associates she was still considering another run. Podesta called the reporting “media catnip.”

“She’s not running for president,” he insisted. “We got a lot of great candidates out there right now. I think the Democratic primary’s going to be a spirited one.”

About half a dozen Democrats have already entered the 2020 race. Podesta singled out former Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz who has been flirting with entering the race as an independent.

Making much news is CNN’s White House Correspondent Jeff Zeleny reporting that Hillary Clinton is telling friends that she hasn’t closed the door to running for president in 2020.

“I’m told by three people that as recently as this week, she was telling people that look, given all this news from the indictments, particularly the Roger Stone indictment, she talked to several people, saying, ‘Look, I’m not closing the doors to this,’ ” Mr. Zeleny reported on the network.

This is a classic way of floating the traditional “trial balloon” to see how people would react. The presumption is the average deplorable American won’t know this, and the messenger helps the prospect by using the media to test the idea and send a larger message to the system itself that Mrs. Clinton is still out there, looming.

Within 48 hours, new media reports were trying to tamp that down, saying that was likely just hopeful friends trying to encourage her to do it.  ...

She doesn’t want to run again, but she wants to be president. That’s the mistake she made in 2016 — wanting the job without having to work for it. Is it possible for Mrs. Clinton to become the nominee again without running for it? Yes, it is.

Considering the ideological civil war inside the party now, it’s fair to say no one will emerge unscathed. In fact, it’s possible no one will emerge as a singular leader at all.  ...

Remember last time she ran, other than for Bernie, she ran unopposed.  There are quite a few jumping into the arena, including other females.  She's much older, less relevant, her health isn't all that great and she's already lost the presidency twice.  Her loss to Trump who was supposed to be an easy win and when she lost she was humiliated and spent many months making excuses as to why.  Heck she even wrote a book about it.  No way is she going to risk further humiliation.

She is running, and the more in the Dem Party that throw their name in the hat, the better for her.  10 candidates is good, 20 is better, and 30 candidates is great.  In any of the scenarios, she is victorious.  Bernie was the only not Clinton candidate in 2016, and in 2020, they divide that vote between 10-20 people.  Clinton wins primary after primary until it is too late to catch her.  Bernie fairs a little better than the rest, but a large part of the vote he had last time goes to the other candidates.

Clinton wins this election/nomination easily, and during the general election, lives in PA, OH, WI, MI, and FL.  Again, if the economy is weakened, she defeats Trump.  And then the circus goes into hyperdrive.   UGGGH!

I wonder how bad her health will be by then. She didn't have the energy to make appearances in 2016. Although she did rally to sell her crap books, she's probably in a medically-induced coma now to recover.

Have you paid attention to her in the last year?  She has been traveling the world, locking up foreign leaders to back her run again, and these folks contribute tens of millions to her faux foundation, which is being used as nothing more than a slush fund for the Clinton Crime Family.  For those of you that haven't traveled to the other side of the planet, it is a grueling experience, yet she is seen dancing and very fit everywhere she goes.

I do not know what they have done for her, but she appears far more fit now than during the 2016 election.  SInce that was undeniably a problem for her last time, I suspect a solution to that problem was formulated.  We are talking about someone sitting on billions.  Every problem can be solved with money in an election.

She will be in fighting shape when the time comes, and she will not be falling down this time.  I think that was in part due to her excess drinking last time in part.

I would never underestimate the evil that is HRC. Although I do think she has serious health issues, including the blood clot in her brain that will eventually re-emerge. There is only so much medicine can do, even the stellar care she can afford. She has serious neuro problems. Her drinking problem is not the only issue.

Seems to me that everyone is overlooking the obvious,which is the minority votes that always put the Clinton Crime Family over the top. There will be multiple brown and multiple black candidates running,so she won't be getting those votes in the primary. The only votes she can count on will be from people who owe their income to Clinton connections,and aging white communist geezers who are confused and think this is still the 60's,and I am not sure there are enough of them still living to make her a primary winner.

I don't think she has a drinking problem.  I think she has either had a series of TIA's or she has some affliction like Parkinsonism and or it appears she is prone to seizures. This video speaks volumes and it's not from drinking nor the 'cold chi'.  I still say because of her health and age, she's not running.
