Instead of moderating her political positions going into the 2020 presidential election so that she can appeal to more Americans, Democrat candidate Sen. Kamala Harris has chosen to go full left-wing.

During a CNN town hall Monday evening, the California congresswoman endorsed plans to eliminate the fossil fuel industry and the private healthcare market.  All that in just one night. Wow.

“I support a Green New Deal, and I will tell you why: Climate change is an existential threat to us, and we have got to deal with the reality of it,” she said when asked by an audience member about Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s radical “Green New Deal.”

The plan by the freshman congresswoman calls for wiping the fossil fuel industry out of existence and replacing all of America’s energy production with renewables within 10 years.

My new theory is that the Democrats long-term strategy is to lose to Trump in 2020, in the hope that when his second term is up, he and the Republicans will be so unpopular, that the Radical Left Dems can sweep into power and fulfill their agenda.  They figure they can keep him boxed in, especially with regards to the SCOTUS picks.

They realize that the majority of the country isn't quite ready for it yet,  but they are planting the seeds, that they hope will eventually bear fruit.

No way this radical agenda of Kamala's can win in 2020.  But in 2024?

I suspect that the radicals will be destroyed before 2024.  The Dems will implode, because they will have no popular platform.  Perhaps a few "seeds" will germinate, but most will wither.

I think she is a huge threat to our society.  Remember that millenials are in favor of socialism.  She just may win the DEM nomination.

Robert Francis had a lot of illegals voting for him. Texas is purging 95000 now. It's the tip of the iceberg and the same everywhere.

My current take:  This is all theater, a planned strategy for the ultra left candidates to spout insane socialist ideas.  Then, Hillary will look like the only adult in the room as a 'centrist' by comparison.

Won't matter.  Pres. Trump will get over 300 again.

Jon Huntsman tried that strategy a couple of times. It went over like a lead balloon.

Harris will not get to first base.  I will go as far to say she will NOT win a single primary/caucus.

And DC Patriot, if you think for a moment that HR Clinton is not running, you just are not paying attention.  Nothing has happened to her base.  She has a solid 35-40% base, regardless of what Dems and billionaires announce they are running in the Democommie Party. 

Again, my prediction is once we have about 15 Dems announce they are running, HRC comes out and declares that so many have pleaded with her to run, every where she goes, that she has decided to run.  Just in the last week when asked if she was running, she indicated she has not ruled it out.  Believe me, she is running, and while I more than despise the witch, for I believe she deserves the Rosenburg treatment (more than the Rosenburgs), as long as she is not indicted, she runs.  She did receive more votes than Trump, and that eats at her every day.  With a better plan, and residence in five states(PA,OH,WI,MI, and FL) in 2020, if the economy is weak, she stands a chance to defeat Trump.

The FED with a Bushie at the helm, I believe we see just as many interest rate increases in 2019, an economy intentionally slowed down to a crawl, she stands a good chance to win.

The entire rest of the clowns running on the Dem side combined will not raise as much money as she has right now in her war chest.

If Trump survives through 2019, I think he will have her prosecuted for treason some time this year.  She may not even be alive in 2020.

Nonsense.  Trump will have her prosecuted?  Really?  You are clueless about how our government works.  When Trump had majorities in both houses of Congress, he got only one key piece of legislation through in two years.  Despite the AG reporting to the president, you have a Dem Party and a corrupt media making it apparent that the president cannot direct the DOJ, that they operate apart from his authority.  The reality is just the opposite, but with this administration, everything Trump does gets challenged.  Or is it that you just do not pay attention to what is going on?

Sadly, criminals like Clinton never go out easily.  She will be alive and well for years to come.  Heck, the average non smoking female lives to be 88.  Clinton will be around for awhile, believe me.  Wishful thinking on your part.    And in fact, from a mortality calculation perspective, she is expected to out live Trump by roughly four years if both of them are average folks for their age.

She is running, best get used to the idea.
