Schumer tells Trump to butt out of border talks

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told President Trump on Tuesday to stay away from negotiations on a border security bill, and let Congress handle it.

"We've come to big agreements before, for example, on budgets and Russian sanctions," Schumer told reporters.

"What was the common theme? When the president stays out of the negotiations, we almost always succeed. When he mixes in, it's a formula for failure," Schumer said.

"So I'd ask President Trump, let Congress deal with it on its own," he said.

The House and Senate have less than three weeks to negotiate some kind of bill to boost border security. Trump, who agreed to end the 35-day government shutdown so these talks could begin, is hoping negotiators can agree to spend some money on new border wall.

Schumer is a tool.  He and his fellow idiots have had roughly 30 years and have accomplished nothing!  Now, he believes he will deliver a result in three weeks?  Ugggh!

Well, see Chuckie, this is how it works:  If you send something to the President he doesn't like, he won't sign it and you all go back to square one if you can't round up 67 votes in the Senate to override.  You go right on ahead and cut the signer out of the process and see how you like the results.

I'll bet Schumer is a hoot when trying to buy or sell a house, or even a used car.
