HR Clinton is running, has been for one solid year.   And Kamala Harris will not measure up to HRC's ankle, and her billions that she is sitting on.  Why the entire field of opponents will not be able to raise combined what she has in her war chest right now.

HRC has a solid base of 35-40% within the Democommie Party.  No one but Bernie can come close, not Kamala with her nasty disposition, not Booker the gladiator, not Uncle Joe, the perv, not horse face Kerry, simply stated no one will come close.  Bernie will get far smaller numbers because in 2016, he was the never Clinton candidate.  2020 will divide that vote between 12-20 folks.  And Schultz and Bloomberg, all their money will result in the same performance as Jeb Bush in 2016...rooms of money to get 1%.

So, she is running, and she will run away with the nomination.  She will win enough primaries early on to make it impossible when the rest of the pack is thinned out to catch up.

In the general, all she needs as a strategy is to live in PA, OH, WI, MI and FL, and depending on the economy, she stands a solid chance of winning.  Don't let the jack*sses  like Durbin fool you, she is still a power to be reckoned with.

It will be TRUMP vs CLINTON in 2020

I agree; if Hillary ran, Harris would beat her easily. I have read Harris' "growing up history", child of two highly intelligent people, mother in medical research, father is a professor.  She was elected California Attorney General, now elected as US Senator.  I listened to her speech in California and this last speech in Iowa.  She has an excellent delivery, strong and definite in answering questions.  If Trump gives her a name, he can expect one worse coming from her that will cut him off at the knees.  He will have to keep a dictionary with him to look up the words she uses so he will know what they mean.

Her name recognition is not like Biden's so she would have to appear "gobs" of times across the country and stay on TV as much as possible so people will know her.  She already has the California votes - can you say "55 electors"?

She doesn't have the baggage Trump has after two years in office and his favorability number is continually dropping.  Think I saw the latest at 30+.

The above is information to consider but it is a long time for Dem candidates to rise and fall, but none of them is as smart as she is and with excellent delivery that draws the audience to her - and she has not spoken a curse word or asked the audience to hit people, that she would pay for their lawyer, and she has not degraded anyone with a disability, and has not said they would follow her if she killed someone in the street.

If she is elected, it will be a disaster as she actually wants "Medicare For All" - total government healthcare.  She wants taxes raised a large amount on the wealthiest to pay for all these benefits.  Wants free college for students.  Plus others I don't remember, I did not make a list. Oh, yes, allow more "refugees" into the country.

I hope she is not the Dem candidate and, if she is, there must be a Republican who is equal to, or better than she is.

Hillary will not run as she knows she is not capable of winning over Harris.

Victoria, your assessment of Harris is not in left field, it is not of this planet.  First and foremost, her presence is harsh to caustic on a good day and she is clueless on healthcare....CLUELESS!  And she has sworn publicly.  Check it out.  And her delivery is cold.  She has zero ability to rally people around her.  She is far worse than Clinton to get people to embrace her.  Hillary had hundreds, occasionally thousands, Harris would draw less.  She has no personality, none.  Bernie will do better than she will ever wish to do.

Hold her picture up to 100 people walking down the street outside of California, and 90+ will NOT know who she is, and name recognition is huge in a national campaign, that is why in part Trump easily bested well known politicians in 2016, including the lock, HR Clinton.

This mindset of free everything gets you the under 21 vote.  That's it.  The voters of America know better.  And make the rich pay, just watch how quickly they exist the USA. 

Harris is like Walker in 2016, she stands a good chance of not making Iowa.  And HR Clinton is running.  She would be a fool not to run.  She has billions in her war chest.  Harris has what, a couple hundred thousand....please, national elections require real money, or a brilliant marketer like Trump who spends a fraction by comparison.

Harris' parents do nothing to help her either

Trump would annihilate her easily.
