Liberals Rage Over Savannah Guthrie Interview With Covington Student Nick Sandmann

    Progressive Twitter users raged over the “Today” show’s airing of Savannah Guthrie’s interview with Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, arguing that it was unfair and immoral to give the maligned child a platform to speak.
    Activists like Amy Siskind demanded a boycott of Guthrie and NBC’s “Today” show over the interview, which they claimed was a staged attempt to make Sandmann look innocent, despite the fact that video evidence shows that Sandmann was in fact innocent and did not approach Nathan Phillips or mock him.
    Some supporters of the Covington boys also took issue with the interview and said that Guthrie’s questions implied that Sandmann and his peers were at fault for the confrontation with Phillips, when in reality Phillips was responsible for the entire confrontation and lied about it.

I'm sure that Sandmann didn't enjoy the "privilege" of being cursed and mocked merely because of others' perceived bigotry.   It's remarkable that these kids were all as composed as they were, not seeking to escalate the conflict but to diffuse it (with, for example, by singing school songs).    It seems that they're being taught the right message about Dr. King.   Too bad their own school followed the lemmings and was quick to condemn them before the full facts came out.

Of course liberals hoped the cameras would have caught Sandmann's face contorted in purple rage as he shouted racist invectives at the nutjob Phillips. 
Instead all Sandmann did was smile at the jerk.
So how did the liberals react?
They contorted their faces in purple rage and wished death on a person for simply smiling at someone harassing him.
How is it possible to reason with people who can't or refuse to see what's in front of their noses?
