LOL. The Bus Driver is done. Instead of writing worthless letters to the dead letter office he should be loading up the private jet with whatever little gold the country has left. It's just about time to find sanctuary in some African hell hole.

I think just the opposite.   The leftists in American government have gradually pushed us into a "non-interference" mode... which has resulted in an unencumbered rise of communism around us.  We need to revisit the past and go back to the era where the USA actually 'fought against' that rise.
 It's a matter of our survival as a free (not communist) nation.  It's a no-brainer.

The real problem in places like Cuba... is that the people stuck there may know what a shithole they're being forced to live in ... but they can't escape or do anything about it (unarmed).  I had a Spanish teacher who had escaped from Cuba right after Castro took over... and had a sister that was still stuck in Cuba.  Trust me... that sister (a doctor that couldn't even afford a pair of new shoes) knew full well what she was 'in'.

True dat.  It depends on how tight the grip government has on information is.  NORK is about as closed a society as you can find.
