A North Dakota man who was accused of stealing a forklift in an attempt to kill President Trump pleaded guilty to his crimes in federal court.

Gregory Lee Leingang, a certified auto mechanic was charged with the crime back in September 2017 when he made his genius plan to kill off the President.

According to Yahoo! News,

According to federal authorities, Gregory Lee Leingang, 42, of Bismarck, stole a forklift and entered a presidential motorcade route on Sept. 6, 2017, before Donald Trump arrived to give a tax reform speech at a Mandan Refinery.

Leingang was apprehended after the forklift got stuck in a gated area of the refinery. Questioned by police and U.S. Secret Service agents, he reportedly confessed to a bizarre plot.

Ranger, that is just weird - Death by Forklift.  If that Forklift entered the street where there were many cars in the presidential caravan, there is no way he could get to the car where the president was.  This man is too nutty to be out on the street.

Lots of long cold days in ND in the winter.  I guess it could make a hare-brained scheme seem reasonable?
