Denver could become the first US city to decriminalize magic mushrooms

(CNN)The Mile High City might be getting a whole lot higher.
An advocacy group has collected nearly 9,500 signatures to get a measure on the ballot in May that would decriminalize psychedelic mushrooms in Denver.

While the Denver Elections Division has yet to verify the signatures, the issue is sure to sprout some debate.
"We want people kept out of prison, families kept together," said Kevin Matthews, the campaign director of Decriminalize Denver. "That was the main motivation for this."

It's not just for "religious purposes" in Denver.

Saw this a couple nights ago on FB with people claiming they need it to fight depression and anxiety.

Legalizing pot started a very slippery slope as it will be elsewhere pot becomes legalized and decriminalized.

The pro drug folks wont stop at weed...and the Dems will be all for it in any state it's proposed because they want their voters stoned so they don't care what the they do at the state house or in DC.
The libs/dems of today are the Quislings of former years. The cowards who would vote a fraud into office in exchange for handouts from the devil.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

For travelers, just another reason to take an I-40 detour around  CO to avoid the trippers.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.
