No right or wrong answers here. Just your own personal opinion. (S)

I’m working on my own list too.
G-d bless America. G-d bless us all

Adopt a puppy or kitty from your local shelter
Or an older dog or cat. They're true love❤️

Election fraud is cetainly one of them -- it's "the future".

The yet-unresolved case up in Maine, in particular, deserves close scrutiny because it "points the way forward" for stealing elections, an entirely new avenue of attack.

One of the last classy Presidents and WWII veterans passed away, preceded by his equally classy First Lady a few months earlier.

Show biz people lost including Penny Marshall, Burt Reynolds and John Mahoney.

Locally for me, the mass shooting at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.

Stock market spectacular rise and equally spectacular fall.

Brett Kavanaugh becoming SCOTUS justice despite smears with bogus claims of impropriety.

Sears finally filing for bankruptcy; the demise of Toys R Us.

Republicans lose the House.

(Trying to find good news this year isn't easy.)

That's a good list that I can't add to.  It was hard finding good news this year.

Politics-Government: House of Representatives captured by Democrats
Society: Substantial number of pathetic fools duped by Internet hoaxers under the banner of "Q"
Technology: Fools that keep supporting overpriced electric vehicles that continually crash and self combust.
Sports:
1. For the first time since 1960, the Philadelphia Eagles win the Super Bowl.
2. Kathleen Baker’s long course world record at 2018 U.S. Nationals, where she nearly became the first woman to break 58 seconds in the 100 backstroke!

Yes, it was, with the exception of the rescuer who didn't make it.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

The top stories that didn't happen? (but should have)

Hillary in jail!

Wall nears completion along southern border, illegal immigration down sharply.

Obamacare repealed "root and branch" as promised.

Congress sucks, but the GOP bite.
