Retiring Rep. Gutierrez urges Dems to pay ‘ransom’ for immigration reform

Outgoing Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.), an outspoken advocate for immigration reform, urged Democrats to pay whatever “ransom” necessary to make progress on the hot button issue.

“For my friends on the left, remember, there’s going to be a ransom that is going to be required,” Gutiérrez told NBC News in an interview published Friday. “Pay it. It’s the right thing to do, because we’re never going to be able to overcome the 60 votes in the Senate.”

“There are people on the right that are going to want certain things,” he added. “I don’t know if we have to give them a wall … but we’re gonna have to sit down and negotiate.”

The comments come as Democrats seek to move forward a variety of legislative priorities, including immigration, when they take control of the House of Representatives next month. Near the top of the list is formulating a bill that would protect the nation’s DREAMers, immigrants who were brought to the U.S. illegally as minors.

Did not know this kook was leaving the House.  Praise the Lord!

Doesn't think the wall will get built.....hmmmm  (he is right of course, it won't)......the Democommies are perfectly fine with 70,000+ Americans dying annually, most due to illegal drugs coming freely across an unguarded border.

They are perfectly happy with thousands of people in the human trafficking sex trade against their will.

And they are perfectly fine with nearly one million illegal invading aliens who are NOT immigrants crossing our border and costing the taxpayer $140 billion per year.    PER YEAR! 

WHEN WILL CONGRESS REALIZE WHO THEY WORK FOR?  The last twenty years have proven they no longer work for the American people, and the question is just when will the American people do something about it? 

Hopefully, American awakens to the fact the Democommies do not work for the American people.  And sadly, the RINOs in the Republican Party do not either.  I think America jettisons many of these folks in 2020.  Perhaps it is wishful thinking, but I am hoping for a purge that removes all these clowns.
