See reply #9 for updates, it kind of depends on what "Hezbollah Leader" means.... as said, I"ve seen data on how often, Israel has hit Syria in the past few years, it might have been as many as 100.

Syrian air defenses intercept 'hostile targets' near Damascus

CAIRO (Reuters) - Syrian air defenses intercepted “hostile targets” near the capital Damascus, Syrian state media said on Tuesday.

What this means, there's probably an even chance of actually intercepting whatever missiles came in and these projectiles are probably from Israel.

Could be from rebels.

Thank You RIV.

The Trump Doctrine. Despite all the "Trump's ALWAYS WRONG No Matter What He Does" Spewage here, especially over leaving Syria, the IDF has - as I said they would - stepped right up to the plate.

And there is NO need for us to be IN Syria butting heads with Putin.

One more win.
My 'Viking Hunter' High Adventure Alternate History Series is FREE, ALL 3 volumes, at most ebook retailers including Ibooks, Barnes and Noble, Kobo, and more.

In Vol 2 the weapons come out in a winner take all war on two fronts.

Vol 3 opens with the rigged murder trial of the villain in a Viking Court under Viking law to set the stage for the hero's own murder trial.

Agree.  And Israel's been bombing the shit out of Syria all year, going after Iranian supply chains .... all with a wink and nod from Putin.  We don't need to be there.

Israel has fired missiles at Syria dozens of times over the past 3 years or so but now they are stepping up to the plate. Alrighty.

Nobody is butting heads with Putin, someone is fighting ISIS, not what the cowardly Russian and Syrian armies have done for a lot of that war.

Yeah, beat ISIS, a terror group that wouldn't hesitate to use nukes and when there Caliphate was at full tilt, that was a viable worry.

Again, if one is talking about the US butting heads with Putin in Syria, apparently, they do not know what is going on there with all due respect. We've hardly done that, but perhaps it is better than saying Erdogan is directing the "Trump policy" and that we don't want to butt heads with Erdogan, you can't find one viable article that says this is about Putin. All Russia is doing is helping a side that uses barrel bombs, I don't know if they have strategic use, they are good at targeting civilians.

Humiliate Mattis and get the military upset at you, yes, we know, we are bring the soldiers home. Put blame where it belongs if this is a one term presidency. Those soldiers in Syria certainly chose to be there, all two thousand, that's the kind of mission it is.

Yeah, this is to keep from butting heads with Putin, I welcome anyone who can put evidence up that is what this is about.

I don't know who is spewing what, we may well see on the next election day, if the correct decision was made. Then, Daniel Greenfield can spin that.

Furthermore, if one is talking about "spewage here", just on the Republican side, you have a handful of Senators I can think of that find what is going on as poor judgment,

"Trump ally" Lindsay Graham, Tom Cotton, Cotton certainly can not be called a Never Trumper.

Then, on to Rubio, Joni Ernest, Angus King and so on.

Even some Democrat Senators seem spot on:

Sorry...

Watching 12 minutes in, Menendez talking of Putin, okay, some are saying, we are being rather accommodating to some foes but that is not the same thing as butting heads.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLpsPTnx1mA&t=291s

Foreign policy wise, Menendez is sharp and for the record, voted against the Iraqi intervention.

We are having frank discussions, something may indeed hurt Trump and his election chances so there is nothing wrong in calling it ahead of time, especially since it is somewhat similar to Obama's drawdown in troops a few years ago in Iraq. Maybe we shouldn't have gone in, in the first place in 2003 but let's not make things even worse.

Hezbollah leaders targeted, reportedly hit in Israeli airstrike, U.S. official says
By Donica Phifer and James LaPorta On 12/25/18 at 8:23 PM
2-3 minutes

Several leaders of Hezbollah have reportedly been hit by an Israeli airstrike on the Syrian capital of Damascus.

The information was given to Newsweek from a Department of Defense source with access to the information from Israeli senior military officers with direct knowledge of the attack. Israel's air strike was conducted minutes after the leaders boarded a plane bound for Iran.

Several Iranian ammunition supply points were also a target of the bombing, the source said. The supply points contained valuable, GPS-guided ammunition from 2017, some of the best available to the Iranian army and Hezbollah.

That's interesting, twitter had a few reports of what was going on before news reports came out.
