The journalist who said Trump radicalized more people than ISIS wishes people would be kinder at Christmas

Journalist Julia Ioffe says she’s not trying to be a Scrooge, she just wishes people would be a bit more thoughtful and not wish everyone a “Merry Christmas” without knowing if they actually celebrate Christmas. That kind of sensitivity to others’ perspectives is exactly what she was lacking six weeks ago when she claimed Trump had radicalized more people than ISIS. I guess it’s easier to ask for others to be kind than to be kind.

In her piece for the Washington Post, Ioffe writes that other people’s good cheer about the holiday makes her feel lonely and isolated:

  • I don't believe in Trump anymore, he's an illusion

You know we were just talking about this at a get together, in the past nobody got bent out of shape over the celebration of Christmas or saying Merry Christmas, if they weren't Christian they just ignored it. It's only with the extreme prejudice of the liberals, ACLU and especially with the absurd contortions of the same to "not offend' those that aren't Christian, most notably the muzzies that the majority of Americans that practice some form of Christianity are supposed, no demanded, to be subservient and not show any public display of their faith.
