Students and Faculty at American University Call for “Minority Only” Spaces

Students and faculty are calling for “minority only” spaces at American University (AU) in Washington, D.C. Supporters of the proposed spaces believe that they will somehow foster diversity on the campus following a year of racial tensions.

Diversity through exclusion: The strategy seems antithetical to itself, but then again, so does much of leftist thought.

An incident first reported in May of 2017, in which bananas with racist messages written on them were found hanging from trees on the campus, triggered the alleged racial tension which is said to exist on the campus.

All these progressive movements stopped being about 'equality' some years ago. They've since moved on to 'superiority' - I'll have what I want and you'll take it and like it.

Pretty funny when you think about it, with their war on all things White if they get what they want, those "Minority Only" spaces will be reserved for Whites.

The "progressive" left never was about equal rights.  That was just another of the lies surrounding their agenda.  They've always been about wanting and getting "special rights" for themselves and those they pretend to champion (in order to get votes).  Special rights, special favors, freebies courtesy of taxpayers, etc.

I don't like the idea,but if giving special parking privileges to white students in DC is what they want,who am I to argue with them?
