DALLAS – Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a first-of-its-kind lawsuit on Friday against the city of San Antonio for violating the state’s sanctuary cities law.

“Some municipalities, such as San Antonio, put the safety of police officers and the public at risk by defying state law,” said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday.

The lawsuit, filed in Travis County district court this afternoon, is the first one against a Texas city since the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld the state’s controversial law in March. Texas Senate Bill 4, or SB4 as it is known, has become a lightning rod political issue which allows local law enforcement officers to question a person’s immigration status.

From the article:
“Some municipalities, such as San Antonio, put the safety of police officers and the public at risk by defying state law,” said Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton on Friday.

Here's why the right is losing.

If Mr. Paxton believes that those in charge of some Texas municipalities are defying state law, his job is not to "take them to court".

Rather, it is to march right in and put them under arrest.
And then TRY them "in court".

Until those of the right are ready to do that, they're gonna keep right on losin'....
